I feel like this movie stands out more for the great acting than the great script.   It's very long, slow moving and heavy but it is a good film.  It definitely makes you feel things.  Depressed.

Directed by Cameron Crowe, starring Tom “I am legally not gay” Cruise and Penelope Cruz. 

I saw this movie the weekend it came out so that nobody gave away the “mind-blowing ending”.  Now I know the secret too, this movie sucks. Ooops! Did I spoil it for you?
